Why I Started This Practice
Throughout my career, I was frequently asked by family members, colleagues, and small business owners to review or draft agreements they did not fully understand or felt uncomfortable signing without guidance. These requests highlighted a clear gap: many individuals and organizations need contract support that is practical, responsive, and affordable—but do not necessarily require full legal representation.
After years of providing informal support alongside my professional roles, I formally established Long Contracts, LLC to expand access to high-quality contract services. My goal is to help clients understand their agreements, identify potential risks and move forward with confidence—without unnecessary complexity or delay.

Corinn Mendes is a Contracts Consultant and Paralegal with more than nine years of experience supporting organizations across commercial, government, medical manufacturing, and research-driven industries. With nearly seven years dedicated to contract management, negotiation, and compliance, Corinn provides practical, detail-oriented contract support designed to reduce risk, improve efficiency, and support business growth.
Corinn advises clients throughout the contract lifecycle, including agreement review, drafting, negotiation support, proposal and grant compliance, and contract administration. Her work bridges legal requirements and operational realities, helping clients align contract terms with business objectives while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
In addition to her formal professional roles, Corinn has long provided contract drafting and review support to family members, colleagues, and small business owners. These early engagements revealed a consistent need for accessible, high-quality contract support outside of traditional law firms or in-house legal models. Education
Corinn holds a Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies from Eastern Michigan University and an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies from Washtenaw Community College.
Certifications/Training
Corinn is a Certified Notary Public in the state of Michigan and has completed ongoing professional education in legal technology, eDiscovery, cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance. Corinn also holds a certification for Facility Security Officer (FSO). She is proficient in modern contract management platforms, Microsoft Office, Adobe, And Excel
